New appointments - January 2007

We are delighted to announce that we have one new partner and two new associates in the firm with effect from 1 January 2007. All three of these positions are as a result of organic growth of staff. We take this opportunity to congratulate them and wish them ongoing success in their careers with the firm.
Michael Gwala joined the firm in 2003 and holds an LLB (University of Natal (PMB), 2002) and LLM (Corporate Law)(University of Pretoria, 2004). He is currently studying towards his LLM (Tax Law) through the University of Pretoria. He completed his articles with the firm, was made an associate in September 2005 and has now been promoted to a partner in the General Law department of the firm. He specialises in general corporate law, commercial litigation, professional negligence claims and personal injury litigation.
Kgabo Serokolo completed her LLB degree in 2003 at the University of Port Elizabeth (now Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University) and commenced her articles at Boqwana Loon & Connellan Attorneys in Port Elizabeth the following year. In 2005, she was admitted as an attorney and conveyancer. Kgabo joined Adams & Adams in 2006 and practises in the General Law department of the firm and deals with all aspects of conveyancing and property law. She became an associate of the firm on 1 January 2007.
