Adams & Adams offers best law graduate programme

In a tight contest with competitors, Adams & Adams was voted the law firm in South Africa offering the best law graduate programme in a recent survey completed by graduates.

A total of 1 521 graduates completed the online survey, which required them to vote for the employer with the best candidate programme.

Every year the South African Graduate Recruiters Association (SAGRA) undertakes a candidate survey. This survey is regarded as one of the best indicators of how some of the country's foremost organisations are rated by new and prospective employees.

Organisations are often interested in the response from graduates about their experiences of the recruitment process. This survey collects anonymous feedback from candidates and helps organisations understand the things that motivate and drive new graduates.

Graduates from 64 different organisations took part in the latest survey, including first year candidate attorneys from seven different law firms.

Every participant had to choose one employer who, in their opinion, had the best graduate programme in their industry. The list of employers was comprised of SAGRA members as well as other well-known organisations.

The top three law firms were in close competition, with only 30 votes separating them from each other. Adams & Adams came out tops, while Deneys Reitz and Bowman Gilfillan were the runners up.

Adams & Adams is a member of SAGRA, a body aimed at assisting and advising employers on the current trends when recruiting first year graduates.
