Adams & Adams is well represented in the 2009 edition of the
International Who's Who of Trademark Lawyers and the
International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers, with three partners – Brett Oldridge, Chris Job, and Simon Brown - listed in both these publications.
Brett Oldridge, a trade mark attorney, specialises in trade mark filings, searches and prosecutions and is a fellow of the South Africa Institute of Intellectual Property Law. Brett is a member of International Trademark Association (INTA) and International Federation of Intellectual Property (AIPPI). He is also a member of Inter American Association of Industrial Property (ASIPI), and the European Communities Trade Mark Association (ECTA).
Chairman Chris Job, a patent and trade mark attorney, specialises in High Court and other litigation in the fields of trade marks, unlawful competition, copyright, designs and advertising disputes. He is past President of the South Africa Institute of Intellectual Property Law and also served on the Statutory Advisory Committee on Copyright, Trade Marks, Patents and Designs.
Chris is a member of the International Federation of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) and the International Trademark Association (INTA).
Simon Brown, a trade mark attorney, specialises in trade marks in Africa and abroad. He is a Fellow of the South African Institute of Intellectual Property Law and a member of the Law Society of the Northern Provinces.
