20/11/2008
Adams & Adams has been rated South Africa’s top intellectual property law firm for 2008 by Professional Management Review Africa (PMR) magazine.
This earns Adams & Adams the PMR Golden Arrow award.
The rating was determined through personal interviews with corporate legal advisors, managing directors, chief executive officers, financial directors, company secretaries and senior managers. The respondents rated the legal firms across a range of 21 attributes like accessibility, added value, adequacy of range of services offered, African and international affiliations, knowledge of client business and business environment, specialist knowledge and expertise and success rate.
Congratulating Adams & Adams, PMR Africa said the award celebrates excellence and sets a benchmark for others to aspire to. Furthermore, it recognises teams and their hard work.
Adams & Adams Chairman Chris Job says the firm is proud to receive this award.
“It is a tribute to our dedication and expertise, to which we believe all our clients – local and international – can bear testimony. This award is especially timely as we celebrate our centenary year.”
Through print and the internet, PMR conducts over 30 000 interviews with top national and international decision-makers every year. It uses this information to produce customer ratings and to benchmark business, government, professions, education and labour. This strategic information is useful to analysts, investors, financiers, suppliers, prospective customers and employees.
