Adams & Adams secures computer literacy at Vuka’uzenzele Primary School
1/04/2009
Adams & Adams has donated a security system for the computer room and library of Vuka’uzenzele Primary School in Mamelodi, Tshwane. The firm’s donation has ensured that computer literacy and reading will start when the school reopens next term.
Adams & Adams marketing manager says the firm has assisted the school as part of its corporate social responsibility.
“When we were informed that computers had been stolen from the computer room, the logical step was to install a security system, including security doors and window burglar bars. This has ensured that when the learners return next term, computer and library classes can resume.”
School principal Jukie Mkhatshwa thanked the firm and said: “Without this assistance, the learners would have missed the opportunity for tuition in an essential commodity of today’s society.”
Twenty-five personal computers will be installed in the secured computer room and will be operational next term.
