Adams & Adams appoints two partners

Leading intellectual property law firm Adams & Adams has appointed two new partners, Lauren Ross and Bilkis Rassool. Both are trade mark attorneys.

Ross, who specialises in trade mark registrability checks and prosecution, holds a BProc and LLB, both from the University of South Africa, and was admitted as an attorney in 2003.

Rassool, who specialises in the recording of trade mark ownership changes and amendments, local and overseas trade mark renewals and the licensing and registering of user agreements, holds an LLB from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She joined the firm in 2002 and was admitted as an attorney in 2004.

Both completed the South African Institute of Intellectual Property Law’s trade mark, copyright, design, patent and comparative trade mark law exams and are fellows of the Institute. They are also members of the Business Woman's Association.

The firm practises directly in several Southern African countries and through long-established associates in others.
