Adams & Adams scoops gender empowerment award

Law firm Adams and Adams scooped the Top Gender Empowered Company award in the business support services category in the annual awards of the Top Women in Business and Government publication – for the second consecutive year.

Adams and Adams chairperson Dario Tanziani says the firm is honoured to be acknowledged in this manner.

“In our more than 100 years of existence, women have played a major role in our development and will continue to do so. We are proud to be part of the changing South African environment. More than 50 percent of our employees are from previously disadvantaged groups and a large portion is female.”

Adams and Adams competed with firms like Smith Tabata Buchanan Boyes and the LR Management Group.

Hosted by Topco Media and made in Johannesburg last night, the awards drew 95 finalists in 21 categories.
