Adams & Adams announces move to new premises
22/02/2011
The partners of law firm Adams & Adams, officially announced the firm’s move to new premises along with the unveiling of its corporate identity.
Adams & Adams chairman and partner, Dario Tanziani, explained that the new developments are a reflection of the growth and development that have taken place within the firm in recent years. “Although we remain committed to our founding values, including integrity, honesty, professionalism and an intense client focus, we are now able, through modern premises, equipment and IT, to express them in a more modern context. Clients therefore have the best of both worlds.”
Tanziani adds that the acquisition of a commercial department is one way in which Adams & Adams has responded to the changes in socio-economics and developments within the law. This has enabled the firm to offer commercial, property and litigation services, in addition to the IP expertise for which it has become known. “We have also grown our IP field to keep up with developments in technology. For example, the information age has given rise to cyberlaw and others areas like biotechnology, electronics and domain names, and we are proud to have specialists working in these niches.”
Adams & Adams’ new premises are located at the prestigious Lynnwood Bridge. Tanziani is excited about the move, noting that it was necessary in order to accommodate the remarkable growth the firm has enjoyed during recent years, and will allow for further growth going further.
At the same time, Adams & Adams has invested in the development of a new CI, which is a further reflection of its dynamism. Developed with the input of TBWA\Hunt Lascaris South Africa, the CI maintains elements which have a connection with the firm’s heritage, such as its signature turquoise, but updates these with a cleaner, more modern and professional look. This is important, as the partners felt it was necessary to convey the message that it is a modern law firm on the move, yet still proud of its history.
Going forward, Tanziani says that the firm is optimistic about expanding into Africa, and has plans to form associations with several leading African law firms whilst opening more own offices. “Our optimism in our country’s future extends to the future of the African continent. We intend to be there as Africa takes its rightful place in the global community, to service our clients’ intellectual property and commercial needs with their African business expansion plans,” he concludes.
