The Counterfeit Section deals with all matters relating to counterfeit goods, including:

  • preparing the necessary documentation and affidavits and arranging and assisting with search and seizure procedures;
  • lodging informal complaints with the South African Revenue Services;
  • lodging complaints in terms of the Counterfeit Goods Act with the South African Police Services;
  • civil and criminal litigation in respect of all aspects of counterfeit goods.
