Marking of Goods

Notice of registration by use of the legend ‘Marque Déposée’ optional.

In general all goods should be marked with country of origin.

Cigarettes imported for sale must be marked ‘Vente en la Republique du Niger’.The marking must be on each box, case or package, just below the brand name. In terms of alcoholic beverages the words ‘Vente au Niger’ must appear on bottles and packaging.
