Comoros
The Comoros Federal Islamic Republic is an archipelago in the Mozambique Channel, between the island of Madagascar and the east coast of the African mainland. The group comprises three main islands: Grande-Comore (Njazidja), Anjouan (Nzwani) and Mohéli (Mwali).
The island of Mayotte (Mahore), the fourth island in the Comoros chain, is an overseas territory of France.
